Jeffrey M. Denny Sr.
April 27, 1955 — September 6, 2020
Jeffrey M. Denny Sr. age 65, of McDonald, passed peacefully in his sleep at home on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
He was born April 27, 1955 in Canonsburg; a son of the late Mark Jules and Evelyn Margaret Hagerman.
Jeff was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1973. He then worked for Penn Dot for 35 years where he retired in 2008.
On December 22, 1977 he married Bernice “Cathy” Hampson who survives.
Mr. Denny was a member of the McDonald Rod and Gun Club, the McDonald VFW and Belgium Club. He loved working outside especially cutting his grass. When something broke he always used duct tape to fix it. He loved playing Farmville on Facebook, checking in on his neighbors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are three children Erin (Brian Campbell) Denny of Bulger, Jeffrey (Nicole) M. Denny Jr. of McDonald and Jason Alan Denny of Ingram; a brother Jack Denny of FL; two sisters Jean (Lou) Wesoloski and Janice (Tom) Robinson both of Butler; seven grandchildren Ethan and Sawyer Campbell, Breanna Wilson, Trysten, Tayleigh, Teyrissa, and Jayson Denny.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will follow at 8 PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
