Jeanne W. Lowther

Jeanne Whitehead Lowther, born October 16, 1928, died June 14, 2014.

Jeanne was the loving wife of Edward Lowther, Jr, the loving mother of Sue, Linda, and Ed Lowther, all of whom pre-deceased her, the loving step-mother of Scott, Gwyn, and Claire Cready, and the loving grandmother of Matthew, Karla, and Kerry Demski, Danielle Wozy, Devin and Brad Cready, and Wyatt and Cameron Cready-Pyle. She graduated from Dormont High School in 1946, and lived in Mt. Lebanon, Peters Township, and Houston, Pa. She lived a good life--met Steve McQueen, Paul Newman and James Garner, which is pretty darned cool. She loved to read, watch car racing, and cheer for the Steelers. She always made wonderful lasagna for everyone, even though she didn't like it herself, which just shows you how nice she was.
