Jean (Cook) Libert

November 27, 1936 — March 26, 2017

Jean Libert, 80, of McDonald, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 in St. Clair Memorial Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.

She was born November 27, 1936 in Lawrence, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary (Dewald) Cook.

Mrs. Libert retired in 1999 as a worker for the former Stylette Plastic Company in Oakdale.

She loved to dance and travel. She enjoyed time spent with her husband at their camp in Ohio, as well as trips to Sugarcreek, OH.

On June 16, 1956, she married Louis Libert, who survives.

Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Krehnovi of McDonald and Patricia Redhair of Marshfield, MO; a brother, Donald Cook of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Katherine Putt and Viola Chwala; and four brothers, Henry, Fredrick Jr., Richard and Robert Cook.

Friends will be received at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of services, on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
