James H. Ganoe

James H. Ganoe, age 72, of Carnegie, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021.
He was born November 5, 1949 in Canonsburg; a son of the late Calvin Sr. and Ruth Helmick Ganoe.
Jim was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School Class of 1970. He worked construction since a young child starting with helping his brother in-law, Tobar, and then working for Ryan and Maronda Homes.
Jim enjoyed watching all Pittsburgh sports teams, from the Steelers, to the Penguins and Pirates. When he was not working he enjoyed relaxing on his porch with a hot cup of coffee.
On November 17, 1972 he married, Lorraine Remschel, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister Betty Salmon of Carnegie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four sisters, Dorothy Fountain, Ann Fratini, Margie Voloskie, and Mary Lewis; and two brothers, Calvin Ganoe Jr. and Edward Ganoe.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 2 to 5 PM the time of services, visitation will continue after the service from 5:30 to 7 PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald.
