Helen Margaret "Susie" (Ankley) Ruffennach

Helen Margaret “Susie” Ruffennach, 65, of Cincinnati, OH formerly of Primrose, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at her home.

She was born July 12, 1952 in Canonsburg, the daughter of George Edwin and Helen Ann (Muth) Ankley.

Mrs. Ruffennach was a homemaker and a 1970 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.

She was the past treasurer of Mt. Pleasant Township Parks and Recreation, a past Girl Scout Leader in Midway, a past member of the Fort Cherry P.T.A. and a past Washington County Republican Committee Member.

Mrs. Ruffennach enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

On December 30, 1972 she married Edward Charles Ruffennach Jr., her beloved soul mate of 47 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Susan Elizabeth (Terry) Kerr and Callie Ann (Christopher) Shattuck, both of McDonald and Angela Marie (John) Hunt of Weirton, WV; a son, Edward Michael (Tiffany) Ruffennach of Oakdale; and eight grandchildren, Christopher Anthony and Tyler Robert Kerr, Abbigail Elizabeth Hunt, Ayden Christopher, Archie Edward and Paul Ryan Shattuck, Angelina Elizabeth and Damon Charles Ruffennach.

Deceased are two brothers, George William and Robert Edwin Ankley.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Ann R.C. Church, Bulger with Rev.
