Helen Marie (Bozicevich) Meerdo

Helen Marie Meerdo, 89, of McDonald, died Saturday, November 1, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born November 23, 1924, in Bulger, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Salopek Bozicevich.
Mrs. Meerdo was a homemaker.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She also loved Polka dancing.
On June 5, 1948, she married Andrew M. Meerdo, who died November 24, 2009.
Surviving are two sisters, Evonne (late Chuck) Dan of Bridgeville and Catherine (late Benny) Metrovich of McDonald, and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Rose (late Frank) Hackimer, and a brother, Michael (late Mary) Bozicevich.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 5. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway.
