Harriet Ann Clayton, 91, of McDonald died Thursday, November 20, 2014.
She was born March 31, 1923 in Carrick, a daughter of the late Robert Clark and Mary Alice (Jeffries) Simmons.
Mrs. Clayton was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former McDonald Women’s Club and the McDonald Garden Club. She was also a member of the Airstream Owner’s Club WBCCI Almono Unit.
On April 10, 1942, she married Donald W. Clayton, Sr., who died August 25, 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Donald W. (Beverly) Clayton, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Lee R. (Dianne) Clayton of Washington and Alan B. (Bonnie) Clayton of Sharpsburg, GA; six grandchildren, Denise (Mark) Sember, Robert Lee (Freda), Adam B., Hannah, Luke and Rebecca Clayton; three great-grandchildren, Michael (Melinda Malachosky, Mia and Riley Sember; and a step great-grandchild, Melinda.
Deceased are two brothers, George and Robert Simmons; and a sister, Virginia Simmons Baker.
