Grace O. (Wade) Richards

Grace O. “Honey Doll” Richards, 91, of Hickory, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 18, 1926 in Cecil Township a daughter of the late William R. and Grace (Rehak) Wade.
Mrs. Richards worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone. She also worked as a tour guide for Meadowcroft Village in Avella.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, gambling and crafting. She also made band boxes and sold them all over the world.
On October 19, 1946, she married Edward P. Richards, who died July 15, 1982.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra M. (James) Bongiorni of Burgettstown; two sons, Mark P Richards of Canonsburg and Timothy W Richards of Hickory; a sister, Marlene Baumgardner of Rochester; a brother, William (Rose) Wade of Charlestown, VA; ten grandchildren, Jill Zihar, Emily Pitzer, Mario Bongiorni, Marlo Youschak, Sharlo Tkalcevic, Darlo Bongiorni, Mara Richards, Mark E. Richards, Wade Richards and Luke Richards; and 11 great grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Edward B. "Buzz" Richards.
