George P. Henry

George P. Henry, 89, of McDonald, died peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012.
He was born May 25, 1923 in Brownsville, son of the late George F. and Regina “Gene” (Ellwanger) Henry.
Mr. Henry retired in 1986 from the Operating Engineers Local #66.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, McDonald and the Holy Name Society.
On July 29, 1944, he married Dorothy M. Tennyson of Noblestown, who died on October 26, 1970.
Surviving are two sons, Gary G. Henry of Greentree and Gregory P. Henry of Moon Township; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Regina "Gene" Henry; and a brother, Jerome R. Henry.
Friends will be received from 1 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 with Rev. Gary Oehmler, pastor of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
