George Duane Fischer Jr.

George Duane Fischer Jr., 46 of McDonald died peacefully at home on Friday, July 29, 2021 surrounded by his family after losing his battle with small cell lung carcinoma that spread to his brain.
He was born May 5, 1975 in Washington; a son of the late George Duane Fischer Sr. and the late Linda Susan (Schultz) Tarquinio.
Mr. Fischer worked through the Laborer’s Union Local 373 for Golden Triangle Construction in Imperial.
He was a hard worker and enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and hockey and was a sports fanatic. His greatest passion however was his wife and children.
On February 14, 2020 he married Autum L. Mattaliano, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Alyssa Marie (Stephen J. Bistarkey IV) Bresnay of McDonald; two sons, George Duane Fischer III of Burgettstown and Aydyn Julius Fischer at home; a brother, James Donald Fischer of Moon; a father-in-law, A M Mattaliano (Michelle D'Angelo) of Euless, TX; a brother-in-law, Jason A. Mattaliano of Euless, TX; two grandchildren, Mason James Bresnay and Emma Lynn Bistarkey; a niece, Kayla M. (Garrett Rodgers) Fischer; a nephew, Matthew James Fischer; a great nephew, Silas C. Rodgers; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are maternal grandparents, William J. and Margaret Ann (Venaleck) Schultz; and paternal grandparents, Harry F. and Josephine M. (Solomon) Fischer Sr.
