Gary R. Margerum, age 78, of Summerfield FL., passed on July 9, 2024.
He was born July 31, 1945 in McDonald; a son of Henry Sr. and Ora Chambon Margerum.
Gary was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. After graduation he joined the United States Navy and proudly served until retiring in 1983.
Gary loved golfing, shooting pool, dancing, and playing cards.
On October 20, 1984 he married his true love, Joyce Lacey who survives.
Also surviving are four children Michael, Michelle, Gary, and Phillip Margerum; a brother Shannon Margerum, and several grandchildren.
Deceased are a MaryAnn Crowe, and two brothers, John and Henry Margerum Jr.
A Military Service will take place on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 1:30PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies 1158 Morgan Rd. Bridgeville, PA. 15017. Anyone attending is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:20PM. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC. 218 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
