Gary W. Davidson

Gary W. Davidson, 75, of McDonald, went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 25, 2012.
He was born April 20 1937 a son of the late Cyrenius Franklin and Elizabeth Wolford Davidson.
Mr. Davidson was a Graduate of Midway High School and then served in the United States Army. He worked as a lineman for Allegheny Power for 37 years before retiring in 1997. Following his retirement, he has worked for Nation Funeral Home for the past 14 years.
On August 6, 1988 he married Linda Strain who survives.
Also surviving are a son Eric A. (Gwen) Davidson of North Fayette Twp; a daughter Tara Lynn (Jim) Walker of Cherry Valley; two sisters Carole Felton of Bulger and Joyce Hapgood of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Zachary and Eli Davidson and James and Elizabeth Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday May 27, 2012 at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Midway. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Midway. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 210 Front St., Midway, 15060 or to McDonald United Methodist Church, 232 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, 15057.
