Fernal Jules Browett

Fernal Jules Browett, 88, of McDonald died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Canonsburg Hospital.

He was born September 18, 1926 in McDonald, the son of the late Fernal Jules and Pauline (Masquelier) Browett, Sr.

Mr. Browett was a 1945 graduate of McDonald High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He worked as a sales representative for Three Rivers in food services until his retirement in 1991.

Mr. Browett was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church and a member of the McDonald Lion’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, but spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite pastime.

On June 15, 1951, he married Joanne DeCola, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Kevin (wife Tillie) Browett of Bloomfield Hills, MI; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Browett of McDonald; and four grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Bella and Amber Browett.

Deceased is a son, Jeffrey K. Browett and a sister, Mabel Ritchie.

Friends will be received at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28. Family and friends will meet at the chapel in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald for the burial at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 where Rev. Gary Chorpenning, pastor of Venice Presbyterian Church, will preside.
