Esther J. (Cook) Gross

Esther J. Gross, 82, of McDonald, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Washington Hospital.
She was born February 25, 1933 in Lawrence, a daughter of the late William and Belle (Kress) Cook.
Mrs. Gross was a clerk at the Giant Eagle in McDonald.
She married Gerald D. Gross who died in 1967.
Mrs. Gross devoted her life to raising her son and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Richard W. Gross, Sr. of Turtletown, TN; a sister, Toots Clark; two grandchildren, Richard W. Gross, Jr. and James Benjamin Gross; and a great grandchild, Warrick Gross.
Deceased are five brothers.
Services are private and under the direction of Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where a private service will be held on Friday, May 1 with Rev. Gary Whipkey officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
