Elizabeth C. "Liz" Vermeulen

Elizabeth C. Vermeulen, 81, of New Castle, formerly of McDonald, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Quality Life Services of New Castle.
She was born February 11, 1939 in Primrose; a daughter of the late Camille Prosper and Mary (Volpe) Vermeulen.
Liz worked as a nurses aide at Woodland Manor, L&L Person Care in Oakdale and later was the proprietor of L&L Personal Care in Paris.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Jameson of New Castle; two grandchildren, Joseph (Heather) Smith and Eric Parrish; four great grandchildren, Madia and Hayden Smith, and Maxwell and Makaya Parrish.
Deceased are six siblings, Herman "Hank" Vermeulen, Mary Blanchon, Joseph Vermeulen, Emma Louise Skrzynski, Camille "Cammie" Vermeulen and Frank Verneulen.
All services are private and under the direction of Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald.
