Edith L. Pruse

Edith L. Pruse, age 81, of McDonald, passed on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

She was born April 28, 1941 in McDonald; a daughter of William and Mildred Beck James.

Mrs. Pruse was a graduate of West Allegheny High School class of 1960. She then became a Nurse’s Aide, working at several different medical facilities throughout her career.

On October 15, 1962, she married, Dale Allan “Butch” Pruse, who passed November 18, 2014.

Edith enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bowling, playing bingo and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving is are two sons, Don (Pandora) Pruse of Daytona Beach, and Kenneth (Mischel) Pruse of Imperial; a sister Elsie Kovach of McDonald; three grandchildren, Logan, Maddie, and Leevon Pruse; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is an infant son Dale Pruse Jr; and three brothers, John, Paul, and Phillip James.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 2-6PM the time of service, at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
