Dwayne E. “Dink” Deems, 52, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 with his sister at his side. He resided in McDonald and the surrounding areas all his life.
He was born April 14, 1960 in Kennedy Twp., a son of the late Donald L. and Margaret Ann (Allen) Deems, Sr.
Dink was loved and respected by all his friends for his generous thoughtfulness and helping hand to anyone. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and wrestling matches.
Surviving are three sisters, Deborah A. Morris of Colliers, Sherry (Lenny) Fullgraf and Shelly (Donald) Hanning, both of Houston; a brother, Shawn Deems of Houston; four children, April, Shawn, William and George Seaton, all of Bridgeville; a step mother, Teddy Deems of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, Lataya, Jayona, Jay Jr, Jayda, Jason and Celina; three nephews, Edward (Nora) Morris, Jason Morris and Donald Yanak; four nieces, Michell (Nick) Solarczyk, Megan (Scott) Detwiler, Morgan and Courtney Fullgraf; and three great nieces, Caitlin and Courtney Morris and Nicki Solarczyk.
Deceased are a brother, Donald Deems, Jr. and two grandmothers, Mildred Tustin and Gertrude Allen.
Friends will be received Friday from 6 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald.
