Dolores Marie (Lash) Shoup
March 30, 1926 — November 9, 2014
Dolores Marie Shoup, 88, of McDonald, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Canonsburg Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anna (Kreikemyer) Lash.
Mrs. Shoup was a custodian with Ft. Cherry School District until she retired in 2002. She had also worked at the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and Kehm Oil, Oakdale.
She was a hard worker with a good sense of humor. She enjoyed shopping, time spent with family and loved her dog Winkie.
In 1985 her husband, Samuel Eugene Shoup preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Marion A. Shoup of McDonald; and a brother, Paul A. (Sandy) Winters of Washington.
Deceased is a sister, Freda A. Kewall.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13 with Rev. Justin Amsler officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. The family suggests memorials be made to Washington County Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
