Diana M. (Descamps) Chickie

Diana Marie Chickie, 72, of McDonald died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in her home.
She was born January 21, 1939 in Sturgeon, the daughter of the late Ernest and Catherine (Horak) Descamps.
Mrs. Chickie was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing 500 and was a member of Gladden Heights 500 Card Club. She was a volunteer at the Western Center in Canonsburg, and a member of the McDonald V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
On Sept. 15, 1962, she married Kenneth G.Chickie, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Joanne Griffin of McDonald and Claudine (Jeff) McDonald of McKees Rocks; three grandchildren, Ian and Jordan Griffin and Rachelle Chickie.
A Memorial Gathering time will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20 th at the McDonald V.F.W., East Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Entombment will be in National Cemetery Of The Alleghenies, Bridgeville on Tuesday, November 22 nd at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the care of Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald.
