Derek Jon Cryblskey

Derek Jon Cryblskey, 39, of McDonald died Tuesday, June 29 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born November 17, 1981 in Washington; the son of Noralynn B. Bioni Cryblskey of McDonald and the late Joseph J. Cryblskey.

Derek was a Class of 2000 graduate of Ft. Cherry High School and had worked as a general laborer for Strombrowsky Home Builders and American Bridge.

He enjoyed shooting pool, sports, hats and shoes and loved coaching his daughters’ softball team.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Skylar N. and Payten C. Cryblskey and their mother, Nicole Cryblskey of Cuddy; and a sister, Kristy N. (Fiancée, Jason Janocha) Cryblskey of Canonsburg.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Monday and from 1 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 6, 2021 with Rev. Justin Amsler officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
