David R. James, born on February 28, 1960, in Canonsburg; a son of the late Paul and Bonita Campbell James, passed away on February 26, 2025, at Sewickley Hospital, just two days shy of his 65th birthday. He was a dedicated employee at Walmart in Robinson Township for over 30 years, exemplifying commitment and hard work throughout his career.
A proud graduate of Fort Cherry High School, David carried with him the values instilled in him during his formative years. His passion for life was evident through his hobbies, which included boating and fishing, cherished activities he enjoyed with his father. David had a keen sense for adventure, often visiting amusement parks, with a special fondness for Cedar Point, where he created lasting memories.
David is survived by his two sisters, Carol L. (Richard) Flinn and Darlene A. James, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his son, who was the child of Paul E. and Bonita Campbell James.
A graveside service will be held in his honor on March 4, 2025, at Forest Lawn Gardens Chapel located at 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, starting at 11:00 AM. The family welcomes all who wish to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who brought joy and kindness to those around him.
