Cynthia Louise Mcwreath

Cynthia Louise McWreath, 66, of Slovan, died Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Washington Hospital.

Miss McWreath was born July 23, 1949 in Doylestown, a daughter of the late Joseph Elliott and Mary Louise (Stevenson) McWreath, Sr.

She was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School and received her Bachelors of Education from California State University.

Miss McWreath was an English Teacher at Burgettstown High School for 33 years before her retirement.

She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and enjoyed researching her ancestry.

Surviving are a brother, Joseph Elliott (Cathy) McWreath, Jr. of McDonald; a companion of 32 years, Valerie Testa at home; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Guy A. McWreath; and a sister, Beth Ann (James of Lititz) Daniels.
