Claudette M. Cowden

Claudette M. Cowden, 57, of Joffre, passed, Saturday, October 5, 2019.

She was born August 19, 1962; a daughter of Jerome Zelinsky of Finleyville and Gloria Jean Edwards of Kings Mountain, NC.

Mrs. Cowden was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1980. She was a CNA at the Washington County Health Center.

Her hobbies included gardening and shopping.

On December 4, 2014, she married, James "Jim" C. Cowden who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Joshua, Jeremy, and Ethan Mangan; six step-children, Rhonda, Martin, James, Crystal, Jason, and Kelley Cowden; one sister, Felicia Evans; and several grandchildren.

All services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
