Clara June Matthews 81, of McDonald, died peacefully Wednesday, June 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 15, 1931 in Highland Mills, NY a daughter of Bert and Mary Antalek.
Mrs. Matthews was the wife of the late Freeland Matthews who died June 8, 1974
Surviving are four sons, Roy (Wendy) Matthews of Chicago IL., Freeland (Lucretia) Matthews of Seatle WA., Sid (Brenda) Matthews of Claysville, PA. and David (Beth) Matthews of McDonald, PA.; Four daughters, Sheila (Tom) Garren of Burgettstown, PA., Sandra (Randy) Bodner of McDonald, PA., Sharon (John) Kendall of Bulger, PA. and Mary Ashford (Jim) of Canonsburg, PA.; One sister Marge Dillion of Sturgeon, PA.; A Daughter in law Theresa Matthews of Burgettstown, PA. and her caretaker, a grandson, Doug Matthews of Burgettstown, PA.; 21 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter Tina Brooks and two sons Doug and Wade Matthews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057 where a Blessing Service will be held Saturday June 16, 2012 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
