Christina "Chrissy" Garove

Christina “Chrissy” Garove, 27, died tragically on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her home.

She was born March 19, 1994 in Warren. She is a daughter of John Faingnaert of McDonald and the late Suzanne (DeVos) Faingnaert.

Christina was a 2012 graduate of Fort Cherry High School. She was an orthodontic assistant for Cartwright Orthodontics in McMurray and Bethel Park.

She was an avid softball player. She played in the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America/USA Softball championship, where they won twice and also played for the Fort Cherry High School team. She also was a coach for Fort Cherry Youth Baseball and enjoyed hunting, ATV/quad riding, country music, spending time with family and friends

Surviving in addition to her dad are a son, James “Jimmy” Garove; and three sisters, Meaghan (Collin) Griffith of Burgettstown, Jessica Faingnaert of Hickory and Elizabeth Faingnaert of Imperial.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held privately on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with Rev. Ben Robinson, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. . In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to McDonald Meals on Wheels, 202 W. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057.
