Charlotte L. "Cookie" (Arbuckle) Shoup

Charlotte L. “Cookie” Shoup, 75, of Bulger, died Saturday, December 30, 2017.
She was born October 3, 1942 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Gilbert and Dorothy (Ebner) Arbuckle.
On July 1, 1960 she married Norman Leroy Shoup who died October 10, 2015.
“Cookie” was an Independent Care Giver. She would help anyone that needed it. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they meant the world to her.
Surviving is a daughter Deeann (Todd) Mercier of McDonald; two sons, John Shoup of Bulger and Steven (Pamela) Shoup of Steubenville, OH; a sister, Nancy Davis of Carmicheals; a brother, Gilbert Arbuckle of Peters Township; a sister-in-law, Janet Arbuckle of Moon Township; eight grandchildren, Ashlee and Amanda Speicher, Jonathan, Tyler, Jacob and Dahlia Shoup, Keith and Ashley Mancinelli; and four great grandchildren, Adalynn and Willow Speicher, Jason and Daniel Shoup.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. the time of services at Nation Funeral home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Nation Funeral Home Inc.
