Charles W. "Les" Leslie Sr.

Charles W. “Les” Leslie Sr., 90 of North Fayette, formerly of Crafton Heights died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Kane Regional Hospital, Scott Township.

He was born May 9, 1931 in Cumberland, MD a son of Charles H. and Hazel (Friend) Leslie.

Mr. Leslie was a metal worker for Pittsburgh Nipple Works where he worked for 39 years before retiring in 1993.

On July 6, 1961 he married Theresa “Terri” Bilenski, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Jeannie Dixon of Heidelberg, Patti Ann (Tom) Glenn of Rock Hill, SC and Terri Louise (Larry) Scott of McDonald; a son, Charles Walter (Marjie) Leslie, Jr. of North Fayette Township; a brother, Gary Leslie of Cumberland, MD; five sisters, Marlyn Simpson, Margaret Pryor, Sharon Warnick, Sandy Painter and Mary Zvirzdinis, all of Cumberland, MD; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, two great great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Carol; a brother, John; a granddaughter Becky; a grandson John; and a great grandson Troy.

Masks will be required for a memorial gathering which will be held from 11 am to 12:45 pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Immediately following the gathering at 12:45 pm a memorial service will be held, following the service, Mr. Leslie will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.  Online condolences, photos and additional information are available at www.nationfuneralhome.com.
