Cecilia M. Joyce

Cecilia M. Joyce, 64, of McDonald, died Saturday, May 05, 2012 in her home.

She was born January 28, 1948 in Pittsburgh and was a 1966 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School. Following high school, she attended classes at Robert Morris University.

During the 70’s, Ms. Joyce was the owner of a printing company in McDonald. She later worked in Human Resources for several companies including Triumph Interiors, Oakdale and most recently Maranda Homes.

She was fond of flowers and gardening but loved spending time with her granddaughter Emily at garage sales and baking.

Surviving are a son, James E. (Terri) Joyce of Cecil; a daughter, Colleen R. (Timothy) Murray of McDonald; two brothers, Richard Seiler of McKeesport and David Seiler of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Cindy Kehren of Bethel Park and Christine Buck of Sturgeon; and five grandchildren, Nick, Zach and Maddy Joyce, Emily and Dylan Murray.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Friends and family will meet graveside at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald, for services to be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9th with Rev. Justin Amsler, pastor of McDonald Presbyterian Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
