Catherine "Katie" Leona Heiber

Catherine “Katie” Leona Heiber, of Oakdale (South Fayette Township) died Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

She was born September 13, 1950; a daughter of the late Henry Heiber and the late Velma (Myers) Williams.

Katie worked for many years in the clerical field.

She was an avid reader who loved books and loved learning. She loved music and watching old musicals on TV. She had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes.

She was a member of the Church at the Rock, Oakdale and loved participating in church activities with her many wonderful friends.

Surviving are two sisters, Ethel Ann Heiber and Darlene Marie Heiber; a brother, Edward Paul Heiber (wife, Shirlee); two nephews, Richard Kelly (wife, Lisa) and Jonathan Heiber (wife,Laina); an uncle, Leonard Hribar; nine great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

Deceased is a sister, Dorothy J. Heiber.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 pm Monday, subject to all Covid-19 regulations and restrictions, at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald where services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 26, 2021 with Rev. Devin Tasker, pastor of the Church at the Rock, Oakdale officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church at the Rock, 150 W. State St., Oakdale, PA 15071.
