Catherine R. McConnell, 89, of Canonsburg, died Friday, May 12, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 2, 1927 in Collier Township, the daughter of the late Joseph Albert and Stella (Sulecki) Snyder.
Mrs. McConnell was a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading.
On November 6, 1948, she married Robert W. McConnell, who died May 15, 1998.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna (James) Himmelwright of Houston; a sister-in-law, Mary Snyder of Cherry Valley; and two very special nephews, Rick (Carla) Snyder of Cleveland, OH and James Snyder of Aspen, CO.
Deceased is a brother, Joseph Snyder.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald where a Blessing Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 with Rev. Ben Vaghetto officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
