Catherine M. "Cathy" Clarkin

Catherine M. Clarkin, age 70, of Hickory, passed peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born October 26, 1952 in Pittsburgh; a daughter of Thomas J. and Madeline Keating Sullivan.

Catherine was a graduate of Bishop Canevin Catholic High School, class of 1970.

Cathy enjoyed watching mystery TV and game shows. She loved shopping on Amazon, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.

On November 18, 1972, she married William “Bill” Clarkin, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Jennifer (Ron) Waggett of Washington, Heather “Bob” Dornan of Washington and Rebecca (Keith) Straight of Washington; a brother Thomas C. (Tammy) Sullivan of Scenery Hill; a sister Anna Marie Rowkosky of Crafton; five grandchildren, Jared and Jacob Waggett, Jillian Dornan, Owen and Brogan Straight.

At the request of Catherine, Interment will be private at the Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
