Catherine Lois Antel, age 94, passed on Monday, September 5, 2022.

She was born March 27, 1928 Mt. Washington; a daughter of William Sr. and Catherine White Souffrant.

Catherine loved to read, and work on gig saw and word search puzzles. Her true joy though was spending time with her grandchildren.

On April 12, 1950, she married Edward Valentine Antel, who passed, June 25, 2007.

Surviving are five children, Mary Anne (Richard Jr.) Golling of Point of Rocks MD, David E. (Denise) Antel of Oakdale, Debbie K. (David Sr.) Kmonk of Finleyville, Jerry M. Antel of McDonald, and Amy E. (Matt) Thomson of Avella; a brother, William (Rosemary Souffrant of Fort Mills, SC; a sister Elizabeth (late Joe) Stewart of Hankey Farms; ten grandchildren, Richard III Golling, Dawn Cregger, Shawn and Jessica Antel, Carrie Redclay, David Kmonk II, Dana Flaherty, Deanna Kmonk, Danielle Kmonk-Wallace, and Caitlin Thomson; 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Deceased is a brother Donald (late Janet) Souffrant.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 11-1PM at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, PA. 15057. A service will take place immediately following visitation at 1PM. Interment will follow in Venice Cemetery, Cecil Twp. Memorial contributions are suggested to In-Stride Therapeutic Riding, 637 Valley View RD. Eighty Four, PA.  15330.
