Candice L. "Candie" (Heck) Blair

Candice L. Blair, 52, of El Paso, TX, formerly of Imperial, died on Monday, September 10, 2018.

She was born May 26, 1966 in Fort Gordon, GA, a daughter of Dan and Judy (Snedeker) Heck of Imperial.

After graduating from West Allegheny High School, she went on to nursing school. She worked as a nurse for Allegheny General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital in FL.

Candie loved her two dogs, Lily and Chip. She enjoyed painting, decorating and watching the sunset at the causeway in Dunedin, FL.

On July 27, 2001, she married Joe Blair, who survives.

Also Surviving are a son, Shane Daniel (Ashley) Scaff of Oakdale; a step-daughter, Cathryn Conolly Blair of Newport, RI; a s, Samantha Fern Scaff.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2 pm in Crossroads Church, 1000 Crossroads Dr., Oakdale, PA 15071. Interment will follow in Clinton UP Cemetery, Clinton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Family Hospice, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243. Arrangements are entrusted to Nation Funeral Home Inc. McDonal.
