Beverly Jayne “B.J.” Cook, 58, of McDonald, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Kindred Hospital of Oakdale.
She was born September 25, 1955 in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Howard and Grace (England) Lamb.
Mrs. Cook was a home maker. She was a graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and had worked at the Charles E. Kelley Support Center Commissary in Oakdale and at the Bulger Post Office.
She enjoyed garage sales, crafting and doing cross stitch.
On June 25, 1983, she married Robert L. Cook, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kristi (Raymond) Klotz of West Newton; a son, Robert L. Cook, Jr. of McDonald; three sisters, Nancy (John) Campbell of Bulger, and Jo-Ann (John) Cowden and Jo-Ellyn (Dave) Lesneski, both of McDonald; and a granddaughter, Willow Rae Klotz.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and from 6 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on behalf of the family to Nation Funeral Home, 218 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, PA 15057.
