Bettie J. (Holmquist) Richardson

Bettie J. Richardson, 87, of McDonald, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Country Meadows of South Hills, Bridgeville.
She was born February 18, 1926 in Carnegie, the daughter of the late Albert and Martha Holmquist.
Mrs. Richardson worked for Superior Steel in Carnegie in their accounting department before her retirement.
On April 19, 1952, she married Raymond Richardson, who died April 11, 2009.
Surviving are two nieces, Joyce Aspinal of North Carolina and Martha Jane Smith of Oakdale; and two close friends, Mary Jane Crieghton of Bridgeville and Diane Lyons.
Friends will be received at Nation Funeral Home, Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, from 12 noon until the time of services at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Dennis Lawrence, pastor of Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, McDonald, officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends Pet Adoption and Resource Center, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
