Bernadine L. (Oden) Jones

Bernadine L. Jones, 67, of Coraopolis, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Sewickley Valley Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1947 in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Hall) Oden.
Mrs. Jones was a 1965 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and worked as a purchasing coordinator for more than 20 years for Bayer Corporation before retiring in 2005.
She was a member of First Baptist of McDonald, where she was a member of Senior Missionary Society, President of Project Church and Church Historian.
On February 9, 1968, she married Vinson K. Jones, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Jones of Oakdale; a son, Kevin (Katrina) Jones of Winterville, NC; two sisters, Daisy Joyce Rose of Rochester and Michelle Oden of Ambridge; a brother, Norman (Diane) Oden of Bridgeville; two grandchildren, Kayla and Kyler Jones; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased is a sister, Cathy Oden.
Friends will be received from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday at Nation Funeral Home, 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Family and friends will meet at First Baptist Church of McDonald, 141 N. McDonald St. for a service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 with Rev. Barry Givner officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
