Anna (Ciammaichella) Latini

Anna Latini, 92, of McDonald, died, Friday November 11, 2016.

She was born June 29, 1924, a daughter of Louis and Filomena (Faricelli) Ciammaichella.

Mrs. Latini was a graduate of Midway High School.

She was a member of Iron’s Memorial Presbyterian Church. She loved singing in the choir, bowling, shopping and spending time with her family. She also was active in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She would take daily walks down Valley Street to shop at Giant Eagle.

On June 29, 1946, she married Bruno “Pee Wee” Latini, who died August 19, 1998.

Surviving are three daughters, Barbara (Mark) Wiener of Cecil Twp., Carol (Dave) Litwin of Washington and Janice (John) Vernillo of Midway; a son, William (Mary Ann) Latini of Midway; a brother, Joseph Ciammaichella of Midway; nine grandchildren,  eleven great- grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Deceased are three sisters, Ida Mezynski, Louise Ciammaichella and Marie Smith.

Family will receive friends Monday, November 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave. McDonald, where services will take place Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery Midway. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, 1323 Forbes Ave., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA. 15219.
